Pacific Ocean Divers (P.O.D.)

      Pacific Ocean Divers invites you to join us at our monthly gatherings on the 1st Monday of every month. Divers, friends and family start to gather around 7pm for a social 1/2 hour. We usually start the meeting around 7:30pm (or so). We'll talk about the upcoming events, listen to a guest speaker, have a raffle, give away the "Golden Chamber Award", etc. Remember, it's a club for the divers!! It's a little different than most clubs as we do not have a president, secretary or any other fancy titles. We do, however, have a lot of great enthusiastic people and we plan fun dive outings and social events. It doesn't matter if you don't know anyone, just join in the fun and before you know it, you'll have a handful of new dive buddies and friends. The diver experience level in the club ranges from beginner to instructor with all types of diving interests - so no matter what your level or diving interests, you'll be sure to fit right in!

The meetings are attended by 20-40 people (depending on the season).  It's great to always see familiar faces and gives a sense of family to our group.  But, don't forget, you don't have to be a regular to attend our monthly gatherings.  We would love to see some new faces and hope that the club will grow.  IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DIVE BUDDY, the P.O.D. gatherings are a great place to get to know some other divers and plan your next outing.  You can come by yourself or bring your friends and family.

The Beach Nuts!

Beach diving at it's finest.  Learn how to beach dive with instruction from our "King of the Beach Nuts," Rob Johnson.  Rob will be organizing all the beach dives and is looking forward to sharing some of the areas "cheapest" diving.

The Beach Nuts go Beach Diving!

        Every Saturday following the club gathering, divers meet at Pacific Scuba Center at 8 am. The dive location is different every month so you'll have an opportunity to explore all the great local beach dives. If you've never been beach diving, don't worry, there's always an instructor or divemaster who will be happy to show you how! Special rental rates for club members! And FREE air fills too!
