A diver's paradise untouched by tourism! In the small settlement of East End, the Cayman Diving Lodge is a casual beachside facility set against a backdrop of tropical palms. A turquoise lagoon, perfect for snorkeling or shallow night diving, separates the sand beach from a barrier reef just offshore. The lodge serves meals in abundant portions in anair dining room overlooking the sea. Breakfast includes a cold buffet and hot dishes from the kitchen; lunch is buffet-style salads, sandwiches and main dishes; while dinner is served in a slightly more elegant style at the table. With only 9 guest rooms, there's never a crowd or line. The bar isthroughout the day and evening, with guests helping themselves on antab. Lighthouse Reef Resort, Belize. The only resort on the Northern Caye, a private island at the Northern end of Lighthouse Reef Reserve ... and only 8 miles from the Blue Hole, it is the furthest atoll from the mainland.
