PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating designates an instructor that is qualified to conduct all training requirements for the Master Scuba Diver rating. You will learn to teach 5 PADI pre-approved specialties. Enrolling in this program will provide you with the practical experience you will need to conduct the specialties that interest you most. The curriculum involves lectures, workshops and practice teaching sessions in the classroom andwater.
Prerequisite: PADIWater Scuba Instructor.
Course fee: determined based upon specialties chosen.
PADI MFA Instructor Training
PADI MFA Instructor Training
As a Medic First Aid Instructor, you can teach students to follow, at a layperson's level, the same emergency-care procedures used by doctors and paramedics. Medic First Aid is the first course of its kind to integrate first aid and CPR into a single consistent set of priorities for emergency care.
Prerequisite: PADIWater Scuba Instructor.
Course fee: $195 (does not include required materials).
IDC Staff Instrcutor Training
PADI IDC Staff Instructor training is available in conjunction with every IDC Conducted at Pacific Scuba Center. This course is designed to provide PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers with additional training necessary to staff PADI Instructor Development programs.
The PADI IDC Staff Instructor course goals are to:
- familiarize the candidates with PADI IDC/IOC and Assistant Instructor course standards, curriculum and procedures.
- develop the candidate's evaluation, counseling and critique skills.
- further develop the candidate's presentation skills to a role-model level.
- prepare the candidate for staffing PADI Instructor Development programs.
Renewed IDC Staff Instructors are authorized to:
- independently teach and certify PADI Assistant Instructors.
- conduct specific IDC training segments under the direct supervision of a PADI Course Director.
- evaluate and critique IDC/IOC candidate academic, confined andwater teaching presentations.
- provide counseling and remedial training for IDC/IOC and IDC Staff Instructor candidates.
- assist with training during instructor-level continuing education programs.
- observe the orientation and closing sessions of a PADI Instructor Examination.
Prerequisite: PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating.
Course fee: $695 (does not include Course Director Manual, Instructor Candidate Workbook or other required materials) $100 deposit is required with a personal resume.
